It’s a relatively easy thing to do once you get the hang of it, just remember that putting pictures up is not a privilege to be abused. People here aren’t fond of large, slow loading pictures. (We have to be considerate for those still running on Dial-up!) So only post pictures in your own threads, or when you absolutely need them in other people’s threads and keep them relatively small.
The first thing you should do is to find a place to upload your pictures from your computer to the Internet. (Think of uploading as downloading, but backwards.) I suggest Photobucket, as it’s free. You can register a free account there by clicking >
here.<
Afterwards, when you have a url for your picture, paste it into your post and put the BBC picture code on it (without the *):

It should come up okay if you did everything correctly, though you might consider hitting the “preview†button and checking before you post.
This same method of uploading pictures is also what you do for avatars. If you have any troubles along the way, just ask!
