Actually, it's more my server that is to blame.
IPowerWeb is a dirt cheap server that offers a lot of bandwidth and a lot of space for pretty much nothing. Moreover despite all this their uptime is very high, meaning that the website is nearly always on and rarely goes offline.
However, the problem lie with MySQL databases I use for the board and the gallery. They must increase the number of concurrent connections to MySQL, which is something that I do not control. I think they allow 50,000 connections for the whole sever and they host other sites like mine so this is shared between all users.
There are two solutions: I change host and this won't happen until the end of my contract in December 2006. Or alternatively I host the database on a personal server. Something I consider interesting but also requires a bit of technical knowledge.
