Poem: Up From the Mist - By Lorraine Purpura

Up From the Mist

Rising like a great fog
Breath coats the mountain crest
Out from almost nowhere
arose a bellow from deep within his chest.

Up from the mist and into the night
Hold fast and fearless upon his mighty back
Soaring high in oblivion's path
you brace for the attack.

Wings of ebony stretched out across the sky
Eyes cast of flame and fury
Talons reach into the earth's core
Dragon is justice, judge and jury.
