OOC: Ferral Children ~ The Sinfield Brothers Strike Again!
Okay guys! Here's another one really aimed at the same sort of crowd as the 'Ghosts of the High Council' thread, but anyone else can join up too as long as they're RPing to a decent standard.
The story starts with a visitor from another country asking for help and then slowly leads down a slightly more sinister trail. I will, of course, be role-playing as Christian but my brother will take on the role of Revex Khan, the guy from another country. Whose actually a good-guy. No, really.
Anyway, this is a semi-structured RP, like previous inventions of ours. Wich, as most of you know, means that while we're happy for you to do random, spontaneous things and happy for other people to lead the thread for a while, there are still key points and plot twists, so if my brother and I are desperately trying to drag the story in a paticular direction, we'd appreciate the cooperation. Though I feel we all know each other well enough for this to not be a problem.
And one more thing, while slaughtering your general, faceless minions is perfectly fine, there will be parts where more dominante foes pesent themselves, in which case we will enter Arena style, turn-based combat.
So, anyone's whose interested in our daring story of trechary, friendship, heroes and villians stretching across two countries, one filled with fear...
needing heroes with none.

Fyre, Malchois, I'm not as familiar with your characters as I am with other participants, so character profiles would be appreciated.
Okay, now that we've got a decent amount of people interested, there are a few plot-characters I'd like people to be aware of. These are supposedly legendary heroes or general celebrities. Not neccisarily house-hold names, but famous none-the-less. Also, a similar synopsis of the countries, other than Oceania, that will be involved/mentioned.
Country: Vendal
Christian's home country. A xenophobic nation surrounded by a large mountain range. It has limited access to sea. Vendal is infamous for producing some of best fighters the world has ever seen and while Vendallions rarely leave their country, those that do often carve such a name for themselves as to act as a deterrent for invasion. Vendallion weaponary is known to be unconventional.
Country: Albrecht
A highly ritualistic society, protected by the elite Runic Knights. An extremely 'happy-go-lucky' nation, it's people are known for wild parties and excessive drinking. Ruled by one zealous king, who prefers to handle things for himself.
Michael Shire & John Seraph:
Two young Vendallion generals who lead many sucessfull campaigns.
Mark Palmer:
Famous Vendallion warrior, known for having 'more balls than brains' and wielding heavy weapons.
Stay tuned for updates as tweaks are figured out! Expect first post tomorrow. (Which is in like, five mins for me. lol. I keep buggin my brother to make the first post, but I'll do it if he doesn't get his butt in gear.)

Name: Fyre
Age: 26
Race: Balrog/human half-breed
Hair: flame red
Eyes: green
Skin: tanned
Appearance: he has two morphs, human and balrog. In his human form he is tall and lean and wears deep crimson, leather, plate armour. He carries a scimitar as his weapon and a whip too. He has a cotton scarf around his neck which covers his mouth and chin. His hair is short and spiked up and on the back of his hands are two tattoos which when held together create the power to turn him into his Balrog form.
In his balrog form he is limited, only in the fact that he cannot sustain it for a lengthy time. In this morph his skin turns to a crust of magma and wings sprout from his back, he is slightly larger but the human breeding in him keeps his more human figure. Two horns grow from his brow and his eyes become orange. His whip and scimitar transform to fire blade and whip.
Abilities: in his human morph he is an agile and nimble man. He can leap long distances and his whip skills are the best in his kingdom. Other than being a fighter he has little in the way of outstanding abilities these happen when he clasps his hands together and turns into the balrog. His skin turns to ash and falls away leaving the balrog form beneath.
His balrog form offers him limited flight abilities and also a command over fire. In this form he is vulnerable to water which is deadly to him. This form takes much energy to keep up so he isn’t able to maintain it for long.
History: the prince of a barren land of volcania. Fyre is someone who seeks adventure, he has been on few but his skills have been honed by his father’s greatest trainers.
(Not used this guy much so his back story is undeveloped)

Interesting character. I strongly approve! Easy to incorporate into the story as well. I thought this might be a problem, if other characters had nothing to do with Oceania. But we can say that Fyre decides to tag along for the thrills, as would suit his character.

I considered the same thing, and concluded that, as Fyre can change form, then other Balrog might be able to as well, or maybe it was done using magic. Does it matter? It's FANTASY.

Well everyone, we've started to get into it a bit more, but the real story hasn't even begun.
On a note, good ol' brother dear won't be posting 'till about tuesday. Long story. I'll probably do a little something on Christians behalf.

I'm back. The thread was drying up a little, so it seemed approprite to throw in a quick battle scene that my brother and I will tie int othe actual story so that it all makes sense. Just have some faith, there are some new and relatively unused characters in this thread, so we need to take things slow for a while till everyone gets used to them.
