Ok now that I understand what you are trying to tell us. First once again I agree with you that the posters need to stop the "I am a dragon" posting. I have tried in the past to stop it, but it did not work. But why are you trying to stop people from using their imaginations? How else would we be able to be doing what we are doing if someone did not think up of everything that makes the computer and everything you are looking at work? Why must you fuel these poor people's overworking imaginations anymore than they are?!? This is like a freaking cult!!!! Dragons are not real and you are brainwashing them into thinking they are, its not fair to them. They should be out having the best times of their lives right now. They should be outdoors playing with friends, going to school and getting homework done and watching t.v.. Not fantasizing about some make-believe crap. They are too old for it.
And, "They are too old for it.", I don't get it. It someone is too old for something like this they should be able to use reasoning to tell everyone here is just playing a part. Like the people on the television should be watching. So we by your thinking be angry at every actor in the world (well at least the good ones). So any thoughts on that?
thanks,

It's the same with me. I know the difference between fact and fiction. I know that I'm not really a naga, but it is fun to use your imagination sometimes. Pretending is fun. Besides, I'm sure you can't really say anything about it becuase. . .well. . .Do you play video games? Most people play video games. They are playing out the role of someone else in the game. While playing that game, you take on the identity of the character. You can "become" James Bond, Mario, Spyro, Sonic, Samus, or any other hero or villain you wish to be. Thus, you are pretending to be someone that you clearly are not. (now i don't think you can really argue with that. and don't try too say that you're too old for it because i know plenty of older people who play video games)
Also, I don't see why you are putting down the usage of imagination. In my opinion, I think it's great that some people still realize the importance of imagination and take the time to use it. I think society frowns upon imagination. Little kids nowadays don't want to play certain games or pretend to be certain things because they already know it's not real or it's impossible. For example, my 5-year-old nephew will tell you in a heartbeat that the animal that you are pretending to be is not real, so you have to pick another one. When I was a kid that didn't matter. You could have been a balck and blue striped hippolumpucuss. It didn't matter. Also, if you look at the movies Hollywood produces lately, they're all the same. The storylines are monotonous. So, are the characters. Think about it for a while, you'll begin to see the similarities.
So don't look down upon imagination. It's important. Besides, clearly you do not have an imagination, so don't criticize what you don't understand.

When I was little I used to run in circles around the playground because I thought a skeleton horse was chasing me
Society needs more imagination and creativity. It's suicidely depressing otherwise. I mean, think about it. If it weren't for imagination, we wouldn't awesome movies like Ice Age 1&2! And folks needs to be able to question, and push the boundries of reality without disregarding them so that way we don't all get brainwashed.

Well put. Oh and dragonsnotexist, don't come to a website where people are free to believe in what they wish and insult them. For if you do... lets just say bad things will happen to you. Everyone on this site has their own ideas. I,for one, think I am a frost dragon. If you have have anything to say about that come say it directly to me.

u know, SOmetimes I forget my human roots, nd then suddenly, We enter a conversation like this...ANd I rememebr all to well watching my great-great-great-nephew trying to create the wheel. Heh heh heh. Anyway. Ok, Dragonsdontexist know this. The greatest threat to the human race is a superpowered human, filled to the brim with unstable blood of a dragon. THe only thing keeping this planet alive is Myself, a forever-13-year old, filled with STable dragon blood, and my half-sister, a dragon. So, if Dragons dont exist...A 4000 yr old human is currently struggling with a 3000 yr old boy. SO where did we get our powers? God? DOnt gt me wrong, I believe God exists. but I doubt he would give powers to a maniac planningf to blow up his greates creation. Check, and...mate. Touche pal.

Psychologically, I think that none of the users here actually believe that they are in fact a dragon/werewolf/lycan/centaur/etc. They just believe in the future existence or past existence of such creatures. It is generally discouraged by society to believe in such things, as they are "not real". If you want to get into the specifics, how do we know that ideals like justice and love are real? Too many things are speculative and unproven to be denied.
