Tamien smiled and poured herself a cup of tea.
"But what do we do once we've found this Lilth woman and gotten the robe off Sera?Run around the countryside and saving people like Knights and using Sukara?"She shook her head."If that's the case,I don't think I could live that kind of life." She smiled again and sipped her tea.

Brothorn gave Aeyla a quizzical. He hadn't said anything about robes. That was one of the others. Brothorn just shook his head and listened to the rest.

Akira walked over and got some bread then poured herself a cup of tea and sat in her seat listening to everyone else talk while eating, she had nothing else to really ask, or at least nothing she could think of

Seraphine left the apple core in a small wastebasket and poured herself some tea as well. She held it to her lips and inhaled. It helped clear her mind a little as she processed everything and tried to think of a good answer.

"Becoming a priest is not necessary to be a Sukara Wielder." she felt some of the tension ease out of the room. "The only thing you need is the Gift, and you only get the Gift if you are worthy. not just anyone can be a Word Wielder...but it would be better to enter the priesthood to develop a better understanding for higher level Words. You see, I wasn't completely inducted either..." she ran her fingers through her hair and took a sip before she continued.

"No, I'm not exactly an official priestess myself. If I was, I could have used a better tactic instead of forcing all of you into this, and for that, I am sorry. Sukara wielders basically have a duty to keep the balance in the world. Some completely abandon their Gift and only use it when Garum are around. What I'm trying to say is..." she took a deep breath.

"You are all free to leave. Nothing is keeping you here."

"I'm not leaving any time soon," Brothorn commented. "But I can't promise that I'll stick around forever." He cast a wary glance towards Thea. And also, he had a desire to finish his own quest.

Sera tooka another sip of tea and grabbed a roll before continuing.

"You see, not many people know this but, the Garum are trying to destroy whats left of civilization by flooding it with 'Dark Karma', the essence of Garum. Sukara balances it out with 'Light Mana' thus the world is kept safe. However, just recently, the Temple where Sukara Wielders have been taught for ages was...attacked. There was no one left alive. The only hope for bringing back the flow of "Light Mana' is the "Song of Regeneration." Without it, the world will perish. It is a compilation of all 26 Sukara Words, or so legends say."

Thea couldn't hold her silence anymore. "Okay, i don't want to be dragged into this! I don't want anything with your silly little words! And how the hell are we supposed to find all these? Run around, doing dumb things and ticking each other off until each word has popped out of our mouths?"

Seraphine got up from her seat and quietly walked over to Thea. She stepped close and looked into her eyes so she knew Sera was sincere.

"Thea, I will repeat myself. No one will think of you as a coward or anything bad if you decide to leave. I will not force you to stay with us if it will truly make you unhappy, but...your assistance would personally make me feel more secure in this situation."

26 words the thought that there could be that many words excited Lycoris. "There's no way these words could be taught? I mean if we're going to have to sing the "Song of Regeneration" we should learn the words quickly."

Thea looked at the ground, slightly ashamed at her actions. (a very rare thing, by the way) Seraphine had that affect on her. The ability to make her feel like a moron and rude at the same time.

Sera's face lit up and it broke into an incredibly goofy grin. She threw herself onto Thea in a big bearhug.

"Thank you so much!!" although she quickly backed away after saying so, she tried to look sheepish but failed miserably, she couldn't get the smile off her face.

Thea reached over and took the roll from Tamien's hand. "What a profound thought you just had, dearie. Why, i'm feeling better about the intellegence of the group already." She tossed the roll from hand to hand.
