hi new dragon lover
hi im dragonfly (obviously)
if any of you went on nationstates.net, im duchessa from haiku
i firmly believe that dragons still exist, are sentient, and are living underground until they feel humans have evolved enough to accept them
im a trekkie (but not original star trek. i like ds9, tng, voyager, enterprise, and i actually read the books)
i write poems a lot (currently working on a set of mythology poems, got 4 already - of course one's about dragons, the last stanza is my signature)
i wish i was an artist but its not to be
i dont think dragons are magic, i think they're intelligent life with control over every part of their brain (humans only use 10%) and that gives them "abilities"
yeah...i guess thats it...

Now and then I announce "I know you're listening" to empty rooms. If I'm wrong, no one knows. And if I'm right, maybe i just freaked the hell out of some secret organization. It's basically Paschal's wager for the paranoid prankster.

The devil doesn't come dressed in a red cape and pointy horns. He comes as everything you've ever wished for.

Though small and witty is a leprechaun
As quick as a wink they can be gone
But you need not worry
Of the shoemakers hurry
For they are all up before dawn.
sorry that probably sounded really random, but when you said poems i had to type it out. this is a poem i wrote in fifth grade. i sent ot over seas to a soldier in iraq, and when he came home he wrote about everyone who he got letters from(almost my whole class and more) and he said that he thought i was one smart little girl. i used to be able to google it, but i cant find it any more.

If you were to juggle a lion, and a house cat, the end result would look something like a tattered chunk of red fabric. The cat would scratch anything within reach, and the lion would just eat you. The lesson to learn? Make sure you eat your spinach.

my question is how falconer (who came here after me) managed to post in this without someone pulling a chalgrish (maybe chalgrish)
