the stickler for continuity that I am, I'm at a loss as to where the "screaming" mentioned in the last two posts, came from?
I didn't type it, and I don't think draggyness did. it's not so much of a problem but, well for continuities sake and all, I don't want to put anyone's nose out of joint..

You are right, there was another dragon.
Those who arent in this thread "supossively died" looking for the shadow arch's keeper in the Shadow lands.
Like I said, they are believed to be dead. If your character was around, then by all means have your character dwell into such thoughts if they wish. Rusabek is kind of struggling with it.

ok, a little explanation of my last post.
I don't feel it will affect the plot arch that has been planned by Ex, I wanted to introduce an atagonistic character to Tarin. Ex knows how I RP and I suspect he's not suprised I written this.
I've left it so that this character, if it were to get in the way, can be disposed of quickly, or if it proves interesting can be drawn out and developed better.
two points I'd like to mention.
1) although many of the characters, Consti's in particular, are very powerful, this character has been able to be devious and deceptive, so she should remain hidden until she makes a move against Tarin.
2) the amulet I mentioned, I'd like for Tarin to discover it after the meeting is over, this way it gives her a personal purpose for following after the new character when they eventually leave the inn. the motive will be out of her caring for the twins and how she would have been better able to do this had the amulet not been there, thus she's pissed.
as I said before, Ex mate, if this will mess up your plans I can make this into a simple slave charcter who was charged to place the amulet in the room and then disposed of quickly.

ok guys, after some talking with Ex and some over zelousness on my behalf I edited my post to take out the little self indulgent plot twist i had put in.
Sorry for the confusion caused. I'll be patient...truth be told i let myself get carried away too much and need the steady hand of someone like ex to calm me down and show me the way.

Ex asked me to post letting ya'll know that he'll be posting again real soon. His computer's being screwy and college is winding down for the semester for him, and those of you in college or who have taken college courses know how stressful the end of the semester can be.

hey gang, this is to go out to all in general. OOC comments should be made in this thread here and not in the rp. the reason is simple, a good rp should have a constant flow and not be broken up by OOC comments.
in my experience, rp's hounded with ooc comments tend to be harder to write for.
Kojack, it was me who commented on your post length. I just feel that your character hasn't been given much of a chance to develop himself.
I also felt the most professional way of bringing this to your attention was to go through Ex. It is not my place to tell you what to do or how to write, but the RP owner has every right to do so. Having written with Ex for about 3-4 years now I know what he expects as contributions from other players.
as for me saying this in the OOC board and not through a pm, well i feel it's something we can all do with being reminded of from time to time, myself included, I don't like to write anything if all i can say is a few lines.

Understood, I just prefer for people to address me about my, eh, mistakes. True, concerns should be told to the RP... overseer, however, to improve my writing skills I prefer for people to address their concerns for my work to me as well. Simply because I improve through personal opinions. In some cases, the RP head cannot thoroughly describe the complaint originator's feelings towards said topic/matter. As for my character, he develops friendships with others as the story progresses. I appreciate you stating your concerns. I now know that, somehow, I must post close to a-hell-of a lot more lines.
...That will prove to be some what of a challenge for me right now. I give you my word, it will be done.

If you have a problem with my post length, or lack there of, please address your concerns to me directly. Such trivialities have no need to be brought upon the RP master, if you will. Much obliged.

Getting the flow up and running is not the problem (especially when I have my music playing). With my imagination, I can easily type out three pages. The problem is going through the pain of typing, literally. Due to certain misfortunes that have befallen my person, it is currently a pain to type. You are right though... I have the drive, might as well put it to good use (and take more pills).
