Question Favorite Authors?
Just was curious about who everyones favorite author was and was kind of hoping to expand my reading to other authors
Myself i love R. A. Salvatores work (i have read some 30-40 books of his and have enjoyed them all) i especially love his Legacy of Drizzt(Forgotten Realms) and Drizzt is my favorite character of all time and i just love Guenhwyvar his panther companion
i highly recomend his work to anybody unfamiliar with it

Re: Question Favorite Authors?
I have yet to read a ForgottenRealms book (role played it a couple of times). The wide mix of writers of Dragonlance, H.P. Lovecraft well all of his works. I'll need to dig through some books to get some more. Poe for his lookout on life.

Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams most certainly. Karl Scroeder (Permanence, Sun of Suns, etc) and Phillip Reeve (Starcross, Mortal Engines, Here Lies Arthur) as well.
Formerly DragonRider. Almost teenage me could have been more imaginative with names.

Odd I didn't think of these writers. Jules Verne and H. G. Wells, truly amazing writers.

Re: Question Favorite Authors?
hmm, Piers ANthony, Douglas Adams, Terry Brooks, Anne McCaffery, Tolkien, Chris D'Lacey, Sr. Arthur Conan Doyle, Franz Kafka, Ayn Rand, The Bronte Sisters....I read a lot and i read pretty much everything....the only name i will not say i like is Dauphne Du Maur or whatever her face...
If you were to juggle a lion, and a house cat, the end result would look something like a tattered chunk of red fabric. The cat would scratch anything within reach, and the lion would just eat you. The lesson to learn? Make sure you eat your spinach.

authors: Fank Peretti & Ted Dekker (House)
They make Realy good horror books
they made House exactly the way I would make any other horror story. (movie sucked though )

How could I forget David and Leigh Eddings? Anyways, add them to the list.
I read Magacian by Raymond Feist but I can't remeber if I finished it... I'll dig it out again sometime.
