Re: Secrets of the Lost Core
Oh, ok! Here's my character:
Name: Cora
Gender: Female
Age: 20-something
Race: Human
Appearance: keeps her chesnut-colored hair cropped short in a boyish fashion, making for easy upkeep. Her dark green eyes contrast well with her lightly tanned skin. Soft cheekbones, a narrow chin, and full lips complete her face. Although curvy, Cora is neither very busty nor hippy, and long legs help boost her to a 5'8" stature. Her clothes consist of a pair of hiking boots, short blue jean cut-off shorts, and a red plaid flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a tattered bottom. She can occassionally be seen wearing her favorite black and white trucker hat. Cora uses a small green backpack to carry her supplies (i.e. food, pair of pants, ammo, and gun cleaning kit).
Weapons: Her grandfather's Winchester Model 1885 High Wall 45-70 caliber (http://www.winchesterguns.com/products/ ... mid=534098) is strapped across her back in a padded case beneath her backpack. She also has a Smith & Wesson hammerless 38 caliber Airweight (http://guns4u.info/wp-content/uploads/2 ... _large.jpg) stuck in one of her hiking boots (no one ever really sees this one, and she never mentions it). Three throwing knives are attached to her shorts.
Bio: Cora's grandfather used to tell her tales of his wild adventures, exploring and looking for treasures. When she was old enough, he began to take her on minor treasure hunts, showing her the basics and ins-an-outs of things. When her grandfather passed away, Cora inherited his rifle and vowed to never give up exploration. The Lost Righteous was one of the treasures her grandfather searched for but could never find. So when the opportunity presented itself, Cora signed on to the expedition.
Cora is very outdoorsy and athletic. Since she was raised mostly by her grandfather, she is boyish in her ways. She can be stubborn and loud, and is determined to take care of herself. Once you get to know her, Cora can be very gentle and loving. However, very few people see this side of her. Some people will tell you she's crazy, but everyone respects her and knows her for her astounding markmanship. Her only reason for searching for the Lost Righteous is to complete her grandfather's lifelong quest.
Role in the group: ???
I'll wait for approval before posting, just to be sure.

FDI: You are just fine in assuming my character had some familiar experiences with yours. Being a ladies man and a bonified "killa," he is kind of well known around the killing fields. That and now our characters have a small sense of comradery.

FDI is just a shortening of your name. It's quicker than typing out your full name. Ex was just using it to show that he was adressing you specifically.

YEP Ex it was totally normal for Azrivel to talk to his arm.LOL (sarcasm) but actually he would be like talking to himself so I thought you guys would catch on that when Azrivel talks to himself he would seem kind of crazy. he showed no signs that he was talking to his arm but DID show signs of talking to himself.

Re: Secrets of the Lost Core
Lol you kept on writing that you hoped nobody would notice your arm and that you had covered it with fabric and even that a piece accidentally uncovered enough that Malachi got a glimpse
Frankly anyone who knew battle as Binadorm and Law would, would be able to tell a broken arm from a perfectly fine arm
And the way you kept nursing it gave the fact away that you were trying to hide it
And this is all from my characters mindset not by what i personally knew but just from the information given my character and based on how i envision him to be
We didn't need to know that it was the arm that you were talking to, to know that it was suspicious

Yeah, I know, the problem is what to say/do. I still don't know when we're leaving, where we're going, what we're doing, indeed anything useable.

Re: Secrets of the Lost Core
ok this is just a small bit of info about my char that should be known. Taking out gold in front of Azrivel is like calling for a fight (if not a death sentence). Again Azrivel is completely greedy and can't control it well. so don't get mad on this post ex (Azrivel is not going to fight you but you will see what he douse.)

Re: Secrets of the Lost Core
I edited it. I kind of don't want Azrivel to be a thief like criminal type so I made Azrivel throw the peace of gold back at law (which is a hard thing to do in Azrivel's gold hungry case.)
ALSO NOTE: that Azrivel's realms is more magic that tech (other than the dwarfs side) so He never seen a gun before.

Re: Secrets of the Lost Core
Allow me to post something about my character.
He does not care who the hell you think you are. You steal from him, and you get said result. Taking gold from him is like "asking for a fight (if not a death sentence.) That is a great way for my character and your character to not get along through the entire RP. Once he makes enemies, he don't make friends.
For the sake of the RP and it's progression, I would submit to you that boundaries need to be made.

Re: Secrets of the Lost Core
ok Azrivel IS a very gold hungry typ so he would be pretty greedy. keep all gold coins to yourself and don't show them off lol.
other than that Azrivel would be pretty good in this RP.
also isn't it a risky move to get THAT close to azrivel (cause of his palm blade?)
too gold hungry beings are beasts that naturally fight. YES our chars might never get along for Azrivel is just as if not MORE gold hungry that law so yah there will be arguments but again lets try and keep our chars in a distance from eachother. lols

Re: Secrets of the Lost Core
Just thought i would elaborate on Binadorm's loyalties in order because multiple times i have talked about how i would do anything for kin i though i might elaborate on this topic
1 Kin (Literally will do anything to help, although they won't help if they suspect they are being used)
2 Friends and Comrades (Will help them when they are in trouble and don't mind the hassle at all)
3 Other innocents (if they are truly innocent they will help all they can but won't help if they know they aren't innocent) ie one reason my character didn't stop Law from killing the little weasel, the other being that he was a comrade and i won't interfere with his jobs unless he needs it
4 Self (yes self comes last to this noble race but when all your kin are devoted to helping you it kinda doesn't matter if you are looking after yourself when everyone else is)
And do you mean you are quitting the RP?

Re: Secrets of the Lost Core
I would not call it a fight. I would just call it a "smoking session." I was also telling him what the author of the thread requested me to.
If anyone feels like I am being too rough or unfair, PM me and let me know. I feel I only act when given probable cause to do so. PM if you think I am doing a good job period.
Or just PM me. hah.

Ciarda i talked about the other path mainly because it invites the opportunity of maybe passing by where Heavymans char might be and the fact that my char is supposed to know the land very well

Re: Secrets of the Lost Core
I'm not taking sides, but DM, it would be better if you didn't automatically assume that your opponent did things. The point of the rp is for each person to control their own character. You do this in two of your posts. (and before i get accused of taking sides, i would like to point out that i disagreed with the posts before i knew of any conflict between the members, and i was going to point these two posts out anyway)
In one of your posts you automatically assume that Ex's character had drawn his weapons. In one of your next posts, after Law had already reacted, you went back and made it so Law was reacting to something new that Azrivel did. ("Law might have gotten up because Azrivel’s palm blade was literately touching his chest.")
I'm not sure what the rules were where you RPed before joining here, but we don't do that kind of thing on this site. Trying to control someone else's character is god-moding and is severely frowned upon. Also, backtracking to change the reason for another person's reaction just makes it seem like you're trying too hard to be a bad-@ss. Don't do it. What's done is done. State your character's next reaction and continue with the story.
Once again, I'm not choosing sides. And I'm not interested in whatever little squall y'all had. I'm simply just trying to explain our rules to you to help avoid conflicts and allow you to enjoy the RP more.
