Hey, I just wonder about the pearl or crystalball (or whatever it is) the Chinese Dragons use to hold in their claws, in pics etc. means??
I have heard that if anyone pick up the pearl from the ocean bed he would evoke the Dragon from his hidden place, or that the pearl gives power and intelligence for the Dragon?
Anyone who knows?
Please, let me know more about it!!
Sorry for my bad english....
Fred, Sweden
What does the pearl means?

as far as I can find it means wisdom and it gives the dragon its powers. I will see if I can find another bit on it.

The victories from those skilled in warfare are not considered of great wisdom or courage, because their victories have no miscalculations

It is an egg. Yes dragons love to hoard treasure, but they use the treasure as their bed. Then it sticks to their underside, which protects that soft part of their body. Besides, it would not make sense for it to hoard that treasure, and just hold it. They would immediatly take that pearl or gem back to their lair. So to make it simple....
