ok to explain myself:
i accidently forgot to mention before that since mary ann had grown up with rangers she had seen her deal of fighting andit ended up that one time she was in a group of rangers and they were ambushed by orcs. at that time mary ann hadnt mastered her powers yet so she had to rely on wut the rangers had taught her(which wasnt much because the group of rangers that raised her felt that she should only use her magic so that she would be able to weild it to its full power) becuase she wasnt very skilled at fighting she and the ranger that got her away from the attack were the only 2 that survived. after that mary ann felt that it was her fault that the others died because she wasnt able to help them. so after that she trained in both her magic and fighting almost every day sometimes she would work her self so hard that shwe would collapse on the way back from some of her training.
thats basically it tell me if ur still confused and ill try to explain more if need be.

If you were to juggle a lion, and a house cat, the end result would look something like a tattered chunk of red fabric. The cat would scratch anything within reach, and the lion would just eat you. The lesson to learn? Make sure you eat your spinach.

ok, I'm thinking of doing one of two things. either we get to the Western part of the city and make that a main focus of the story, i.e. branch out from there.
or we get there and discover it ruined and everyone dead and then have to fight what did that...meaning the Archmage laid a trap down for us to be killed too...maybe he's in cahoots with the Queen? or are there any other ideas, cus once throught the catacombs and western part of town I don't know where to take it next.
you input is welcome..

i think that we should have the archmage be in allegience to the queen like fyre said that way the reason that he sent for us and then sent us to the catacombs and the wetsernpart of the city woul d be to clear the way for his queen to destroy and conquer casteria and make it her own.
