ISSUE OF THE WEEK: Apocolypse

Ok, there has been a lot of this "end of the world" talk on the boards, so we might as well make a post for it...

We all know that if the Earth continues at the rate it's going, it will soon be no more. Whether it be via WWIII, a comet, or republicans, we all know it will soon be destroyed, so here's the question...

1) How do you think it will be destroyed...
2) How would you like it to be destroyed (and you can't just say "I don't want it to be destroyed"...)
3)How would you not like it to be destroyed...

So I'll go first...

I think it will be destroyed by a comet...

I would like it to be destroyed by comet...

I would hate for it to be destroyed by zombies...

I think it will be destroyed by global warming or another big bang/comet.

i would like to be destroyed by a comet in about 1000000 yrs

i hope it doesent end a nucleare bomb attack

I think it will be destroyed by global warming and all the crap the humans are dumping around.

I would like it to be destroyed instantly by a comet or another Big Bang

I would like it to be destroyed after all my friends and anyone in my family I care about has passed away.

I would hate for it to be destroyed by a war. Slooowly and paaiiinfully.

One of those 'ugliest person in the world' sites, probably.

The world will most likely be totally abused by humankind, but the universe is gonna go through a reverse big bang...

I think it'd be cool if we mined so much of the Earth and sent it off in sattelites and shuttles and such that it would just fall out of orbit into the sun. That'd be fun...

I'd prefer that the Ragnarok not come. I have nothing against most of it, but the Fimbulwinter is something I can't deal with. Not good with cold...

Hmm. . .

I think the Earth's core will eventually cool and the Earth will collapse in on itself.

It would be cool if the sun finally "died". It would collapsed in on itself and create a giant black hole that would suck up everything around it (that includes the earth, duh).

It would suck if everything when up in flames (b/c of volcanic eruptions, nuclear wars, etc.).[/img]

The Sun cannot become a black hole, because the Sun doesn't have enough mass...

It would have to quintiple itself in mass for it to reach the critical point where its gravitational pull would not allow for any light to escape...

If you take the old testimet bible character by character in its origional language and swich it around in a certain way it has every major event in world history and if you define it to a search then you can(theoreticly)predict the worlds end..... It was on the History channel
