ErsskaI know how you fell, I've said the same thing over and over again. But in a sense we are staying true to our word because we do post at least once a year. I can't promise an everyday check in but I can say at least once a week.
Dragon444I have noticed that many smaller boards are going in the direction of away, it is a sad thing to see. I miss rping on this board, back when there were new post almost every hour. Nostalgia.
Forgotten Dragon's IreOldies?
I'm not that old, after all I am quite young considering when I joined in '05 I was 15. Anyway, nice to meet you as well and I know what you mean about college...

Lol I only meant it in that I'm a relatively new member in comparison
(if you consider 2009, practically 2010, new well considering how many new consistent people we have I prolly count) 15 in 2005 lets see I was 13 then so can't really call you old in that sense... Lol

I joined the original board in like 2003, maybe 2002. Then, they made this board, and most of us that made the transition are now gone.
You guys are the old ones now, and I salute you.

Hey guys, just saying that I'm still here and still reading, though inactive post wise.
Kojack; I don't recall meeting you yet though I do recall reading your posts in the past... Glad to have you on the boards again.
Glad to see a few people are still alive here.

I've counted myself as an Elder for a while now. True elder status comes not when you follow whom you see as the elders, but lead those who choose to follow.
I admit, I still give respect to those who came before myself (Exx, Fyre, Chal, Vamp, Tempest), but I now lead as well.
I see us all as equals. We are world makers. we are story tellers. All of us.
I bow unto all of you.

LOL no and I really can't call you a youngin' either, given the two year difference. Besides after you hit the year mark, I no longer consider you a "new" member.

You say that as if you will not be returning... or as if you don't consider yourself an old one. As far as I am concerned, you my friend are legendary and I salute you.

Likewise, I have read your posts before but I never actually "meet" you. Well for what it is worth, it is nice to meet you and thanks.

Good point, I never really considered myself an elder I am just an older one.

I don't think I particularly lead anybody. I've only ever tried to keep the peace among the members and helped straighten out some of the newer members. I'm not sure I consider myself an "elder", just simply an older member.

Ersska, you're an elder.
You've been here just about as long as myself (if memory serves).
By helping those who need guidance, you lead.
You've changed this place by just being here (I agree, Makla is a turkey).

Frack, by Cuadrilla I was only 12 when I joined this board, back in '06... I managed to actually run an RP to completion in the past 5-6 years, which I'm rather proud of (though I can't start the sequel without wut2say and possibly Falconer, even if he *was* resurrecting his character for it...
). Ah, fun times - I remember being on once at the same time as wut2say and lengthening Eternal Twilight by at least 5 pages...
I also remember getting, ahem, moderated by Chal, the self confessed tightwad. Back when there were more than one moderator, because there were enough posts to justify it...
Ah well, we're not going to get more posts without posting them. New Years Resolutions, anyone?
Something for people to watch:

Kojack how frequently will you be posting now that your back? I know several RP threads are struggling due to RL issue of the posters.

I would love to say more than once a week however, in my line of work there is no guarantee. At this point in time I can say once a week, so long that I can think of something to say... type.

I have returned after being inactive for almost year due to some serious RL issues. I can't believe a full year has passed by already. Time passes by so fast.

i don't know if i'd say you were completely inactive. you still came on here sometimes when i joined, and that was back in May.

I'd call 16 post in a year being inactive. While it is true that there is low activity on this board an average of once every three weeks is way to little for an active member.

I wish I could say I was better I have a smartphone and everything everything, and I have this board saved. I will try to do better in 2013, seeing how I do not anticipate the world ending.

Well to be honest John, the boards have been in our lives for so long that it is kind of hard to forget. I am just glade that when I do forget the URL, I can just Google Dragnix Message Boards and presto I'm back.
Hopefully I can post more this year.

I am also around, but I only get on here once a month or so at most so I can't join any roleplay threads, much to my distaste. I always enjoyed them, even if I was not the most reliable poster
Anyway, just stuck my head in to say hi and long time no speak
