If you had taken out "you rely on me" and "Humanity created me yet I have given many humans life" parts and it would have been nearly impossible for me to solve the riddle....
My turn.....
( you ALL should get this right without any trouble, or I’ll send down a wrath of a thousand suns upon thee)
A name that we respect,
A library’s worth of information,
But only made for one subject,
A place we play and relax,
I gave you good times,
And memory’s that'll last a lifetime,
Even though you can't live in me,
I am your home,
And you are my family and caretakers,
What/where am I

Terra, a.k.a the Earth.
A name that we respect - I should hope people do
A library’s worth of information - have you seen how much Entropy the world has?
But only made for one subject - Human life
A place we play and relax - this ones obvious
I gave you good times - as is this one
And memory’s that'll last a lifetime - and this
Even though you can't live in me - whoever heard of living inside a planet; you live *on* it
I am your home - of course the planet's our home
And you are my family and caretakers - not very good ones, but that's beside the point
...
...
Or did you mean Dragnix?

Four Jolly Men sat down to play,
and played all night till break of day,
They played for cash and not for fun,
With a separate score for everyone.
What were they doing?
I've seen this one before and the obvious answer poker is incorrect the actual answer is four people in an orchestra playing at a dance.
The additional four lines are also a part of that riddle
"When it came time to square accounts,
they all had made quite fair amounts.
Now, not one has lost and all have gained -
Tell me now, this can you explain?"
Here's one for you
"A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful meal. How can this be?"
Not my own but I found it entertaining

What with all the recent activity on the board I thought a good riddle would be in order.
Tom and Jerry, two popular politicians, met at a club to discuss the overthrow of their party leader. They each ordered vodka on the rocks. Jerry downed his and ordered another. He then drank his second in a gulp and decided to wait before he ordered a third. Meanwhile, Tom, who was sipping his drink, suddenly fell forward dead. Both men were setup for an assassination. Why did Tom die and Jerry live?

The poison was on the rim of the glass, Jerry did not consume enough because his lips were not on the glass long enough for the poison to take hold but Tom sipped his and was therefore regularly exposed poison.

the poison was in the ice, Jerry didn't give the ice time to melt, but Tom did.

I've only really played Spyro the Dragon. I've been looking for them online but the cheapest are priced at 30$.
