The little avatar thingie is determined by your post count. It could also be determined by your user group, if this is powered by invision.

@Ryusei_Yosei: It seems that everyone like that little wanderer guy and yes, it's possible to have an icon associated with a custom title. With phpBB, a new rank need to be created for each custom title and then assigned to your username. It's a bit less efficient and a bit more messy than the way EzBoard do this but that also why it's possible to use any kind of icon with it since there is no difference between the standard ranks and the custom ones.
