Re: OOC: The Phoenix part 1(Scifi)
* I'm still having trouble trying to wrap my head around the wing design. So just to be clear. . .The arm is humanoid, and the three digits that make up the wing (when the wings are folded) would be like three fingers folded back against the hand, correct?
Correct.
* How do the feathers lay on the three digits? And how long is the longest digit? When the wing is folded (suppose the arm is hanging loosely by the creatures side) does the longest digit stick up straight up above the shoulder?
The feathers on the three digits are layed out much like Terran birds. The longest digit is 3 feet long, while the other two shorten gradually, but not by much. Yes it sticks up above the shoulder.
* And what happens when the Avron bends it's elbow? Does the tip of the wing jut out behind them? That would be hard to maneuver in tight places. . .
Indeed, it is hard to maneuver, but the digits still bend, allowing them to fold them up a bit more tightly.
As for your last question.
Scientists have more power than warriors, and often train with some sort of pistol or traditional sword. Though they aren't barred from training with other weapons. It isn't uncommon for scientists to be put into dangerous situations and need to defend themselves. It's also not uncommon for some to even make their own personalized weapons. As for position, a professional scientist wouldn't hurt. The Phoenix does have a science lab, so the character would fit. Also Avron scientists often specialize in multiple fields, increasing their usefulness.
Correct.

I've started the RP without them. I'll leave room for them to join in.

Sorry for seemingly deserting you, Heavyman. I've been without internet for quite a while now. I'm still interested in joining. However, I need time to reread everything and build a character profile. I'm not promising I will join. My internet is currently unreliable, and I'm not sure if it will still be working tomorrow. Once again, I'm sorry. If the internet continues working, I'll join. If not, when I get the chance, I will let you know for sure that I can't join.

Looks like you might as well go on and start without me. If everything straightens itself out, I'll find a way to join. Sorry, guys, for making you wait so long.

Re: OOC: The Phoenix part 1(Scifi)
I'm out. I don't think that my char would fit in to this RP at all so I decided to quit. good luck with the RP and have fun.
