Geology is fun. If the collage has it, take planetary geology. It’s a lot of the same information, but it is fun to study ground structure unlike things found on the earth. And to see the things like the earth has. And try to get rid of the core classes as fast as you can, it sucks being a senior in a freshman class. And it gives you a chance to decide your exact major and area of study there you will want.
Good luck.

Heh, Im more into natural hazards - volcanoes, tsunamis and the like. I actually belonged to my local Geology club for a good 5/6 years since I was 9. Yeah..
I was an odd kiddo.
Planetry? Too far away for my likes but it is still pretty interesting nevertheless.

Actually I only need one application form and I can get the money I need for any equipment that the college doesn't provide by commissions
I've been saving up since I was 7 for this, I knew roughly what I wanted to do then - archaeology!
