I think we should start a records section to keep people up to date about who holds what title. We could set up a system to keep track of things like who has the most posts, the person with the craziest attitude, and things like that. I already checked the memberlist and found this out;
The person with the most posts here is... Jishdefish with a whopping 1531 posts.
Added an end date (45 days) to a never-ending poll

the posts are usually kept up with anyway, and usually awards are given towards the end of the year. Also towards the end of the year, people who have not posted or have not visited the board in sometime are placed on a thread "In Memory" of them.
Tempest usually keeps this place very interesting with these records.
So in liue of this, we already keep records.
Looks like I will be passing the torch when it comes to post leader.
At the old board I had ... eh I wont go there. ALOT...
Not only that, but when someone walks into a board like this and sees records of who has more posts and who is "crazier" they might not feel at home here. We wouldnt want thatm would we?
but when looked on it, I guess it would be a interesting idea to toy with.

I think No. That'll make people too competitive for a 'title' or a place in these 'records'.
I've seen forums almost die because of people competiting for certain titles. Also this is probably why I think the 'Wanderer' and such icons are a bad idea - people will want to get to the best one asap just to prove that they've 'been around', even though most of what is probably posted is junk

As a bounty hunter I'm up for hire to hack others' figures!
Just joking.

That was my point exactly Silver Orbs *thumbs up* Now if they were not so much as titles... as... awards or something. Someone who doesnt give a squatt...

i think someone who doesnt give squatt wouldnt really do anything one way or another, they may not even say anything. what fun would that be? i really think that we could go without your suggestion Dragon444. this is a happy bubbly place just the way it is.

It might be clever to add a "Sponsor" title to people who donate above their avatar. I've seen it on other message boards. Other sites have radio stations or extra-benefit packages for a yearly subscription (I don't know..in this case more space for pics, journal, PM's etc..)
I think it was a good idea with the "Records" or "Record Holders" titles but, yes, as mentioned afterward, it may cause some devastating competition.
I'm a shape-shifting Dragon..some of you may be roleplaying and what not.. but knowing Dragons, many will tear at eachother for prestige. Its just oftentimes in Our nature.
edit: btw the "Ambience" skin is really cool for these boards. My bad for not seeing when I registered and complaining about the antiquated look.

I don't rp. Put me outside in the sun and time me to see how long it takes for me to burn
This place has Otherkin, Dragonkin, Vampires/Werewolves and maybe the odd rp'er (oh, and regular people as well)- we're a mixed bunch
Note - I don't claim to be anything more than human. But I do claim to be a human with defects

+ Silver - Orbs + I'm glad you brought that up. I'm looking to help stop the thirst of vampires using the Forefather's (Elohim Gods) science. Many of you might say you don't want to be helped; but just hear me out. There's a nutriceutical that strengthens blood and its one of the 4 superfoods called aphanizominon flos. aque (super blue-green algae).
Because the body recognizes it as food its assimilated very quickly into the body. Its chemical makeup is so very similar to hemoglobin (and instead of an
iron atom at the center there is a
magnesium atom at the center.. this food is extremely rich in chlorophyll.)
The reason I think it would work is because these are pills..and a vampires stomach would have atrophied long ago because of the absence of fiber and other bulk foods going in. The body can easily convert the chlorophyll molecule to hemoglobin and strengthen both the blood and immune system. At the least it could lessen the thirst and the murders on my planet. At best you could substitute all blood drinking for this nutrient powerhouse. In lab tests at McGill University in Canada, Humans were able to safely absorb through an IV the equivilant of hundreds of pills of this super blue-green algae. I take only 5 or so a day and it keeps my immune system and body very strong.

And just how to do you propose tracking down *all* the vampires/vampyres in this world then? I don't exactly see a Vampires National Census about.
Just leave them be - trying to change them will make you as bad as some of the 'slayers' that hassle the community. Yes, there are slayers. Some are Buffy-wannabes, others are actually -cough- serious on it.

@ElohimGod: See Jason in the Eternal Twilight RPG. He'll be glad to track down every last vampire for you.
@silv: And nuts to those who fight the vampire slayers!!

Its cool the message will spread quickly enough because I have ties with the Illuminati and Federal Bureau of Investigation. I just want people in this community to know. I'm planting the seeds and by slaking the thirst of even a handful of vampires, there will be that many less foul murders from these abominations.
This is easier than hunting them all down. I'll bring the Light of intelligence and science to them so they can change back and be free from their eternal suffering.

Ok, I'm afraid that now I'll actually start being serious.
I highly doubt you have any special connections with the FBI. Really I do.
'Foul murders' by vampires is a laugh, a rumour. More people are killed by sharks than by vampires. Many, many more.
Have you fully researched vampirism? The scientific explaination for it, the 'virus', how to be turned, awakenings and the like. Crosses, holy water and garlic don't work for the majority I think.
Vampires are about as much of an abomination as other Otherkin (ie, physical weres, therians ect). They're basically all human under the skin - in some cases, with defects - like a subtype.
Light of Intelligence? Eternal suffering? Ok, for the first one I'm chuckling. Intelligence is how *you* make it - learning and the like. There isn't exactly a brainhead pill. And eternal suffering? Most classical/Inheritor vampires (which are considered the immortal ones) don't live past 100. Inheritors have up to 350, Classicals...I have no exact idea. Yeah sure, it's hell. They didn't choose it most of the time. Leave 'em be.
Is this strictly to vampires or are you going to try and wipe out everything that isn't 'pure or good'? I wish you luck bucko, I'm not changing for anyone.

Vampires are not like the other creatures off the night. They are of the Undead, sworn to the destruction and conversion of all mankind. We are at eternal war with them.
Oops, there's the lunch bell. Gotta go.

Actually that's only part right. You're thinking of the Classical (or Ageless)/Inheritor type of undead. There are mortal vampires - called sanguinarians. They're not undead or evil.
Geez, people are so close-minded lately

Well yeah, but the classical ones are the only dangerous kind.

blame silv and her "i dont rp" post. she started the whole vampire issue.

Its not entirely Silver Orbs doing. I wanted to talk of my idea to get nutrient-rich, non-fibrous food to these beings who probably really thirst for the "power" of the blood drinking - and not so much the blood itself.
We're here to experience Harmony in Diversity. That was the purpose of this experiment on Earth (created by the Elohim Council of the Eternals.) By offering a gesture of peace to the Otherkin there may be a chance to end the perpetual wars. As my Elohim Armies of Light come to aid the Humans we will be casting the murderous, blood-thirsty killers aside...possibly into the Abyss if you don't make an attempt to work with Me and this nutraceutical study.
We're in the early stages of research so no one will be forced to take this food intravenously for now. There are enough vampires in the Global Elite for me to have plenty of test subjects.

OK, I currently hold the record for the "

And the "mouth drops to the floor" posts I would think. Wink

Try to keep all post "child friendly" if you get the point. If not, here it is, that picture is questionable, to say the least. Remove it.

*scratches chin* I dunno. I kinda like it. But dont mind me im just a silly little teenager.
Hmmm about records, I am with Silv. It'd increase spam as everyone wants to be at the top
In response to otherkin being abominations: *gives a low growl*

Judging by what you're saying, I'm going into the Abyss. Oh, that would be if I believed in any of this
Plus why is this image of the 'gods' a painting? No photos or did you have to search the internet?
And there's no power in 'blood drinking' - least not for sanguinarian (mortal) vampires anyway - they're still suspectable to human diseases such as HIV and AIDS
Plus I wish you luck on finding vampire test subjects -chuckle-
And I think I just got the 'Best argument' post on this one
Back to the records unless you want to take this to PM level
I'd be happy to debate your 'theory'

Yeah, I get the "most posts on new board" award! Wow, didn't notice I was that crazy... Who knew?
Anyways, yeah, I think this question has been answered so, enough with the vampiric theorys of death and destruction, surly this creativity can be diffused elsewhere.
