how do you start an RP?

my subject says it all. i had an idea about an RP and was wondering how to start one.
Go to the OCC forum and post a thread:
Name: OCC: [name of RP]
Text: Describe the background, theme, and type of RP you intend to create. Include a char sheet example, info on what kind of chars ur expecting. Try looking at what others have done for examples.
