ooc:start with your character sitting at a round table with all the other players. you may start up any kind of friendly conversation that suits you. Try not to strike up any arguments up just yet though. This first part is just to get a good feel for the other players yur working with. The waitress will come in after everyone has gotten started good.
Ic:
Late at night a group of wanders make their way into a Tavern and sit down awaiting their turn to order up a meal after being on the road since early that morrning. The group had only met up just recently, so they were still getting to know eachother, so while they waited for the waitress to wait on them they began chat amounst one another just to see what kind of company they were all with.

Kemper sat down at the table, leaned his chair back, and propped his feet on the table. He looked over at Cache, and then at the rest of the company.
"So, how'd you end up with this group of chicks?" he asked Cache.

Tyler looks over not impressed with the comment
eyebrows raised, crossing her arms over her chest
" Excuse me, i dont see any chicks around here "
looking around at the others, also leaning back and crossing her knee high boots on top of the table
" i can see enough dogs though "
with a cheeky grin

"Good question." Ignoring that previous comment, he leaned over to May, speaking softly into her ear, but just loud enough for everyone else in the tavern to hear. "You know I can't afford you or your friends, right?" He winked; she slapped, and the room roared with male laughter, but not his. Instead he feigned hurt and rubbed his red cheek, retreating back to his original posture: leaning towards the counter. "No idea, really. What about you? Just happened to walk by and get a sudden thirst?"

OOC: DragonSwan, you never posted your character sheet in the OOC forum. You need to do that so Pandora can approve your character.
IC: "Bummer for you. I usually don't have to pay!" Kemper laughed and winked at Cache.
"I was club and dragged, one could say." Kemper glanced around.
"As a matter-of-fact, I am thirsty. Where's the waitress?"

Elizabeth shifted in her seat uncomfortably, she hated sitting down and making smalltalk, she wished she were hiking through the woods or canoeing. With a small sigh she shifted to another position. She heard someone say something about them being thirsty.
"A cold drink would be nice......" she mumbled, then changed postion again in a futile atempt to get comfortable.

May shook her head, "Or else maybe a tranquilizer to keep these boys down." She tried to shift away Cache, but there wasnt enough room.

Tyler starts to get really agitated because she wants a drink.
Glaring around at everyone, and then searching for the damn waitress, thankfully a few start to approach the group warily.
"vodka and coke for me" she says loudly, the one waitress writes it down quickly and looks to the others close by her to take their orders.
putting her feet on the floor, and leaning forward on the table to look at each of the people, some talking amongst themselves, others looking around aswell, waiting to catch someones eye and strike up a conversation.

"I'll take an energy drink, whatever type you have" Elizabeth said. She always had liked drinks that gave her more energy, she always wanted more. Elizabeth groaned, shifting yet again in her chair. She finally gave up on the attempts and stood with her arms crossed behind her chair.

ooc: Dragonswan: Next time be sure to visit the ooc thread for any Rp you decide to join. Also, be sure to really make sure you undestand what you are reading. If you'll look carefully you'll notice that I said that I would bring in the waitress, meaning I'd be playing the part. It's forgivable though because yur new to the whole thing, and not to mention I've been unable to get on becaus I was at the hospital delivering a baby.
That I apoligise for, but when a baby starts coming you can't just shove it back in.
anywho, I'm a bit short on time so I can't do it right now, but when I get the time I'll be sending you your first random word, that you'll use for the next part of the tavern sceen. for the time being just continue to order your meals and get better aquainted with one another.

OOC: A baby?! Well, congrats! And good luck too you. I know babies call for a lot of attention and time.
IC: Kemper was sitting on the other side of May.
"Where ya going, sweety?" he said as she slid away from Cache and towards Kemper. "I'm not the cuddling type!" Kemper laughed.
The waitress came and everyone started to order.
"Are you sure you need that?" Kemper directed at Elizabeth when he heard her order. "You're fidgeting enough already."
"I'll have whatever you have on tap and a sandwich," he told the waitress.

Elizabeth glared at kemper.
"Well, you try sittin' still in a chair as uncomforatble as that. You ain't completely still yourself, yah know. I'm not changin' my order, just about everyone could use some more energy, and I don't count myself as an exception." Elizabeth snapped. She wasn't too good at the concept of social interaction, and she didn't really try to improve.

Ooc:again I apoligize for my absents, it turns out the baby was born with something called jondous, which makes them turn yellow. It has something to do with the liver not getting the posions out of your system fast enough. To fix this proublem the held him in the hospital and put him under this huge light. I'm not sure exactly how that helps, but it did. Anywho to make a long story short, I stayed with him the whole time he was in the hospital because I'm an extream worry wart and I was worried sick.
He's just fine now so hopefully I won't be absent again.
Ok, you should now check your Pms for the random word to use for how your character responds to this next bit. Remember these words were randomly selected from a pile of little folded up pieces of paper
Ic:The waitress smiles warmly and accepts each order as if it were something she too enjoyed to dine on. She was so much of a kindly figure that no one suspected the cloaked figure cruched down behind her, slyly relieving the party of their wallets. After going around the table the theif takes a few werry looks around the tavern and walks right out of the door. A bit later after everyone has finished their meals the waitress comes with the bill for the food and the group decides who will pay it.

May leans back, "I say we have these kindly gentlemen pay." May puts her hand over where her wallet should be, but finds it missing, pushing down the slight panic she surveys the rest of the group. Leaning towards Kemper to direct her question to him she asks, "Give me one good reason why you wouldnt pay the bill." Waiting for Kemper's answer she smiles to hide her thoughts, How exactly did i miss my wallet disappearing?Who would dare and how? it's clear that no one's plotting with another there's a bad taste in the air.
OOC: i'm not sure if that makes sense, but i'm going for it....
YOu dont need to apoligize so much, baby comes before the internet life.

"I'll pay," elizabeth stated. she reached into her pocket and cursed.
"Ok, what piece of @#$%& STOLE MY WALLET!" Elizabeth yelled in anger.
I have to admit, Elizabeth thought admiringly, I'd like to take tips from whoever did it. I had it in my zippered pocket, I should have noticed it being stolen!

"I'm confused." he looked down at the drink in his hand. He didn't remember ordering it, nor ever taking a sip, yet it was there, half empty. Cache stood up suddenly, sending his chair skidding across the floor. Everyone was staring at him. The room was spinning, he couldn't keep his balance standing up. He tried sitting down again, but forgot he had discarded his chair and fell flat on his a**. He cursed loudly. Pinching the bridge of his nose he tried to concentrate and the room stopped spinning. He stood back up, pulling the chair up to the bar again. He paled, his stomach hadn't stopped spinning. He looked around desperately to the waitress. "B-bathroom?" he just barely managed to get out, trying to keep his many previous drinks down.

The waitress giggled manicaly.
Gotten drunk aready? Here, this or'ta sober you right up! Oh, and the restroom is the secound door on your right over there.
The waitress pointed somewhere behind her, handed him a small blue vile, took his arm, and helped him hobble in the right direction until she was sure he could make it on his own. Then she marched back over to the table.
Now, about that bill....you said you were ready to pay?
ooc: yeah, baby does come first, but that doesn't keep me from feeling bad about leaving you guys hanging.

Kemper looked at May.
"And why would I do a thing like that? You ladies seem capable of taking care of yourselves. I wouldn't want to insult you by taking that priviledge away." He grinned. Suddenly, Elizabeth bursted out in to a rant.
"What? Stole your wallet?. . .pft. . .whatever. . ." Kemper tried his best to keep up. Then, Cache leaped up and sit back down on the floor. When he stood up again, he looked sick. The waitress escorted him to the bathroom.
"What's with him?" Kemper asked, motioning towards Cache.
The waitress returned.
"What? Pay? Huh?" Kemper asked only halfway paying attention. What is going on?

Oak slowly cut his steak as he watched the group realize they had been robbed and almost choked on his ale when one of them fell on his a++. As he finished his steak he slowly moved partially off his chair so he could be ready to move if anything happened. He pulled his wallet out of his boot, he had eaten here before and knew the kind of people that lurked, and layed the appropriate amount of money on the table and leaned back with his eyes closed and his ears open. If any one suddenly jumped up he would know.

OOC: Sorry, I was going to a week ago, but my power went kaput. Ice storms suck, seriously. Okay, enough excuses.
IC: "Uhhh......" He moaned. His insides were killing him. He shouldn't have had a drink, they always did this to him. Cache's mind briefly imagined the beer in a tankard with horns and a pitchfork, prodding his innards. He laughed at his sorry state, sucked up his pain, and stood up wiping the bile from his lips. He emerged just as Oakey slapped his money on the table. "I don't suppose you're generous enough to lend a few coins to me as well?" He coughed. "I got swiped." Cache pulled out the whites of his pockets to emphasize his point.

May nodded, "Maybe the money genius can set up some loans for the rest of us idiots and we can get out of here and repay him somehow." She surveyed the now sorry looking group before looking back at Oak, "What does the genius say?"

Kemper watched Cache stumble out of the bathroom.
"Feeling better?" he asked, half smiling. Kemper turned back to the table before Cache addressed Oak. He managed to catch May's remark though.
"Money genius? What are you talking abo- . . .Hey! Where's my money?!"

The waitress quickly scooped on the money placed on the table and stuffed it into a larger bag around her neck. If some one tryed to steal from this young woman she was sure to know it.
You were stolen from? I bet you that's your culprit. He sits in that corner there when he doesn't see something to steal. We know he's been stealing, but without proof we can't rightly kick 'em out. Maybe you could get the proof so we can get rid of 'em. The boss suspects he's been stealing from the tavern, and quite frankly he creeps all the rest of us out. You catch 'em for us, and we'll look the other way if you decide to inflict your own punishment.
The young girl pointed at a table in the corner next to the door. Where a small figure drapped in a rough brown cloak sat, but when they noticed her pointing they quickly made their way out the door.
opps! Sorry! Maybe you can catch 'em before he gets to far.
Ooc: Be sure to check yur PMs!

Cache leaped after the thief, but quickly regretted it as he passed through the doorway. His stomach suddenly squirmed causing him to fall to his knees in the doorway, tripping up a few people as they surged just as quickly as he had toward the street and pickpocket. A hand grabbed him roughly by the back of the shirt and heaved him out of the doorway towards the tavern's outside wall. Cache didn't even care to see who manhandled him, his eyes teared up involuntarily as he spilled his empty guts on the ground. He heard a laugh from somewhere beside him. A long, dirty fingernail ran along his scalp, along the side of his face, and under his chin, making him lift himself up to prevent it puncturing his skin. Forcing back bile and tears, he looked at the strange old woman.
"Who--" She cut him off with just a look. As the tears drained, he saw the woman more clearly. Elderly, a shock of white hair, wrinkles as numerous as dunes in a desert, and the posture of a crested wave. Her crooked nose had a blister on it that almost sent him gagging again, if he wasn't so distracted by her voice. It was almost mesmerizing in it's surprising grace.
"Poor poor sailor, lost in a sea of troubles. This pin under your neck could be a blessing you know, a deadly poison; a cure from this world." He did his best not to swallow, the tendons around the nail tightening voluntarily.
"Oh, you don't want to die? You would rather face your torments? Then take this." She handed him a cylindrical object. He couldn't lower his head to see what.
"What is it?" He mumbled, not wanting to move.
The old woman smiled like a madman might do when drowning his children. "Not much, but at the same time it will prove to be quite useful for someone in your situation."
I hope it has water in it. He thought bitterly, feeling a nozzle on one end of the cylinder. Before he could even figure out which way it was facing, however, the wicked hag redrew her hand from his throat. Cache swallowed and stepped back, even though his throat was painfully dry and he was pressed against a wall. The woman was gone. The tired sailor sighed thankfully, now looking at the item in his hand. "What the H***!?" He cursed. What use could this be? But being superstitious about omens and the like, he stowed it in a pocket in his tunic. The metal was cold against his skin through the hole in his sleeveless shirt. "Crazy wench." Looking around the street he realized that the rest of the group had dispersed after the phantom thief. "I'd better ship out as well..." Cache trudged off down the street, hoping that his writhing gut knew where it was going after all that chaos.
