Poem: Dragons Fate - By Dragons Fate

Dragons Fate

Slayer:
As I approach my fate so weary,
I see the cave so dark and dreary.
I hear the beast await his fate,
with silent awe I set the bait.
This brutal god in mortal form,
my death I'm sure the beast has sworn.
I'm sure he's noble, code his own,
but slay I must when dawn is shown.
His fiery breath has poisoned my mind,
my thoughts he's forced be rampant and kind,
like wild fire, a zestful whore,
never I've felt this menace before.
This pollution of ideas be cleansed,
when I retire my mind will mend.
But should the beast come out at night,
I'm easy prey to his delight,
I'll be his meal without a fight.
Where nobles many have died here,
to thee beast I give a sneer.
No slumber tonight I shall receive,
only in his death I shall take leave.

Dragon:
Another fool at my dispatch,
Like I can't see him in the thatch.
My death makes him a "better man",
such idiocy as his be ban.
I'm sure he thinks I'm a "brutal beast"
his ego grows like warming yeast.
If only juncture we could make,
then this mans life I'd need not take.
Men's anger reigns within their eyes,
their thoughts develop between their thighs.
All rational thoughts they make then save,
those of us inside the caves.
When man kills dragon, blood makes pride,
when dragon kills man ten more shall ride.
For killing man just brews the hate,
such vile ruin is dragon's fate.
