Archived Discussions submission thread

If you think that a topic has generated an interesting discussion and think it should be archived then you can post a link to it below this post.

Note that the Archived Discussions forum serves as a reference forum. It's empty now but I think it would be nice to have a system where valuable and particularly interesting threads can be tagged and moved to the archive forum when they officially die (after a few months of inactivity). This shouldn't be viewed as a way to prevent additional discussions on the subject but more as a starting point for them. The forum can also be a place that contain all the best discussions.
