was not entirely sure where to put this question that will eventually have a story in it. Where do you put your ideas when you want help on them for like a book?

Thank you and now my concept

She was directly below him, all he had to do was wait for her to move a bit farther forward and… Crack! He was plunging down. His instincts taking over allow him to land on his feet in a crouch with the only damage being to his jeans. The she dragon that was his query was already in her true form and about to take flight. He raises his handgun that was equipped with scale piercing bullets and fires five times at the large creature’s left wing. At the time she had been in the air and so plummets to the ground from the loss of one of her flight appendages. Moving forward to behold the last seconds of her life the hunter stops, waiting for his prey’s last words.
When he came into a brighter section of the forested area the dragon gained a look of recognition on her face. She then yelled in shock, “You! Why are you doing this?”
“I have no choice,” replied the hunter in a choked voice. He then raised the gun, for what he hoped was the last time that day, pulling the trigger he shuts his eyes as if that will block out the shot and her scream. Holstering his gun he then pulls his cell phone from his pocket and uses the only programmed speed dial.
“What?” asked the voice on the other side as way of a polite greeting.
“The job is done, she is dead,” the assassin replied with as much malice as he was able to give while not revealing that he was miffed.

I like it, I think it would do good as an opening for a book, or opening for a chapter or something like that.

To answer the first question, here, I guess.

As for the opening, it's "quarry". Other than that, it sounds cool, I can't wait to read more.

As to the read more, I am afraid that is impossible at the moment for I need your help. You see I need the main character who was not in that prologue to have a sister not at home but I do not have that experience, so has any ever had a sibling leave or die by chance? If you do not want to talk I understand but otherwise I want some help

I've never lost a family member, thank God, but I can write as if I had. If need be, I'll help.

A deep ache, like that of an old injury flaring up. A sense of loss, undefined. The character may not even realize he's thinking of her at first.
Can you PM the details of the sister's departure? I.E. the character's fault, bad fortune, etc.
