my art teacher is challenging me to find an art competition and compete in it. i told him that none of my art would stand up in a real contest and he wants to prove me wrong.

okay anyway, if any of you know of any contest that i can enter (and i realize that this is a long shot) please let me know becuase i'm hard pressed to find one

I would suggest actually wanting to find one. you may say it but the negativity in your posts makes me think the reason you aint found one is because u don't want to find one.

i understand your reasoning but believe me when i say that i just can't find one. i'm as eager to prove him wrong as he is to prove me wrong. plus, if i actually end up doing well it might just be the little push to my self-esteem that i need

I think you would totally do great, your art is better than any in any of the contests I've been to around here, but unfortunately, no, I do not know of any art competitions near you.

well, i'll settle for one that i can perhaps mail my entries to or maybe just a simple online one
