The land is awash with chaos, and the magic of the land is depleting as the good king's health fails. However, five friends choose to find the one herb which can heal the good king and bring back the magic.


Setting: land of En'aor, with mountains which reside to the north, capped in snow year-round. Forests to the east, oceans to the west and south. The five friends originate from a large city, full of xenophobic humans. The law states that no harm can be done to another race within these walls....

These positions are HIGHLY adaptible, so anyone can fill them. As many people as possible may join, and I'd like this to be the first RP in Dragnix history to be completed. I have but one rule. History- Shivan was born in a small village where he was raised by humans. His foster parents took him in and tried to raise him as normal as possible, but to no avail. The other children would laugh and make fun of him, and even when he did make some friends he always felt like an outsider. So when he turned eighteen, he left. He has been living in the forest ever since. The thing he finds most depressing is that his skills were self-taught. He can't do magic, but perhaps he just needs to be shown how. His mind is what most people covet even more than the ability to do magic. He can solve most riddles no matter how hard or simple, he can learn things in a week what most people would take a few months. He would be a gifted student if only he could find a teacher, and that is how he has survived by himself for the past years of his life. He knows a lot of people, but his pride keeps him from charity.

History- Salta is the by-product of legand. It is said that mermaids lure fishermen into the water to suduce them. This, is a half truth. In times of need an emissary for the merfolk is 'concieved' to represent them on dry land. However, Salta's time of need passed before he was mature enough to assume it. Now, his life's purpose denied, he seeks his destiny.

Armor: excepting a leather breast plate, all Tarin has are the brown robes of her order, a thick belt and a satchel. around her neck is a chain, on it is the symbol of her order, the oak tree with an eye in its branches. she ofcourse wears inder garments too, a jerkin and loose trousers.

Weaponry: she is weaponless, for now. her strengths are in her faith and her ability to do simple healing. she carries vials of lotions and ointments in her satchel and her grandmothers recipe book too, this is also full of information about various plants. there is also a kit for taking samples of plants she may come across which she can add to her grandmothers book. however the final few pages of the book are enchanted so she can't write on them, her grandmother told her that their secrets will be revealed to her when she has realised her true destiny.

History- Tarin is a recent graduate from the training school of the Order of the Woodland and is eager to go and preach her practice. The Order is based in the Forests of the East but her pilgrimage has taken her to the great city. The order is famed for it's founder Shardel (this is before Travis, for those who know of him) and has a powerful influence. There are two aspects of it, the warrior side and the priest side, Tarin is a monk from the priest side and as such she has little fighting skill.
she met strangers in the city who soon became her friends. and has joined them in their undertaking to save the King, lest the Darkness overwash the land.
