so I go away for three weeks and this is what happens. not to say my being here was pivotal in the upkeep of the place, but this place has really sunk to a new level of inactivity. I'm talking about the rp board mainly here mind.

The good Rp's which have been started soon get killed off by over ambitious players who don't really follow a plot/wait for the DM to carry the story on.

how I long for the days of yesteryear, where the rps were epic, Pages and Pages of story written by about three posters and how I grieve that they have been lost for all time!

well I have a game somewhat written up. I may try it here, but first I will try starting some real life games and that plus my games on DNDOG will take out my role-play time.

I never even visit the RP board, so please don't accuse me of being inactive...

however I feel what they has a point. we shouldn't really complain too much about the general forum as it is meant for general topics ranging from the simpsons to ufo's.

the dragon discussion board is alive with dragon threads and the rp board has one or two active story threads.

each person should be pleased. I rarely read the artistic or dragon boards sticking mainly to the rp boards so thats why I had a gripe with it's inactivity..

Why exclude you when at some point we are ALLL guilty of what we complain about, it IS human nature in a sense....it may not have happened yet but I have a feeling eventually it will. So can we all stop with the elitist Dragons only bull and enjoy ourselves....I woudl hate to loose my temper and open up a whole ne can of whoop ass....ask Fyre its not pretty when I do. Then again thats only happened tw or three times in like 4 or 5 years...so its all good. ^.^ Just no crazyness and arguing please...it ruins the fun and all our moods.

Yeah, the boards are seperated for a reason...

Part of the reason is that people are in school now. I'm busy most of the time so I never get on here untill a week or so has passed. I'm eaither stuck with something school related or tweaking programs on my computer around.

And lets face it, the genral forum is meant for general discusion. However, somethings do get out of hand and need to be shut down. Regardless, you are not required to read every new post there is. I for one hardly read anything unless I can figure out what the thread is about from the topic, and if it interests me.
