Love is the flame of the everlasting candle
Sometimes it is snuffed out
Only to be relit

Love is the warm embrace
The loving caress
The soft kiss

Love is meant for everyone
But you must look to find it
You must keep looking and never lose hope

Love is like a flower
It takes work to keep it alive
It won’t survive on its own

Love is trust beyond a doubt
Always knowing that the person you love will be there
Especially during the bad times

Love is the most wonderful thing in existence
It is the most valuable thing to a person
And it can’t be traded or measured

I wrote this and it isn't very good, but I would like to hear what you guys think about it. Please keep the nonesense posts to a minimum.

Sometimes love doesn't last and is never rekindled... You watch to many movies....

It seemed to fit, and you can almost always find love if you want to find it. If you don't want it, then you won't find it.

Keep it how it is (with happiness), and call yourself a transendentalist poet...

I think it's a very good poem. It would certainly get an A if it had been entered into the English project I did (it was a 'senior project', for high school, kinda fun but the whole time you're asking "Why?")

The only plus about the project was that you got to post on 39poems.com.
