Loading / Hosting
The best place to go for image hosting, in my opinion, is Photobucket. Although Imageshack is also a good one.

These will actually reduce the capacity of the image you're uploading, so resizing isn't always neccesary.
Please keep image sizes relatively small for the dial-up users - provide a link if you think it's too big

There are several places online where you can display your work and have other people comment on it.

What to / what not to upload
Now this is a family-friendly forum - we have everyone from all ages here. Here's some tips
If the image *is* of a mature rating, please say so or find someway to censor it if you really have to post it
Of course, the obvious one. No porn (smut or yiff are other terms)
