Noooo, it's because I don't like AIM. Ya' see I don't use it directly, I use Trillian. I think you do also. For me to use it, I'd have to download it and install it, which I'm not going to do here. Plus I use Pro of a version I like, not the new crappy version. So there. That and I'm a lazy jerk.

Trillian is awesome at times, but it has a lot of problems with it. I use it as well Alorith. I wouldnt use AIM directly either.

I have both Trillian and AIM, though I prefer AIM as it has the "hide" feature. Otherwise I become the helpless victim of an online mob.

Trillian also didn't have many of the features that AIM has until just recently.

It gives me all kinds of trouble, for instance signing off without it telling me too. But when I had AIM that was not a problem. And then of course the constant belly acking of "You have over 200 buddies! We will come to your house and gouge out your eye balls with pepperoni if you do not delete someone now!"

*sigh*

Some IM services have a server-side limit on the number of contacts you can view status for, AIM's limit is 200.

Trillian actually warns you that you of the situation, if AIM doesn't do it that doesn't means the limit isn't there anymore.

Lol, I think Trillian is the last corruption; I already use Mozilla. The main other reason I don't like trillian? I'm not fond of their smileys...lol. Yeah, so it's a lame reason...
