A story for the true Dragon lover

My username is Falconer, and for those who didn't read my posts in
here, I am writing a book on a boy and his friend, a dragon.
Kinda kidding here. The "boy"-Jason- is seventeen, and he has been selected by the Council to become a Dragonslayer; they were initially created to combat unintelligent dragons, griffins, etc. but they no longer distinguish between intelligent and unintelligent creatures. As a result, the dragons are becoming extinct. Draconis-an intelligent dragon- is friends with Jason as has been for a while. Jason loves Draconis, but knows that in the eyes of the Council, Draconis is an enemy. Together, Jason and his friend must persuade the Council and the nation that just because you aren't human, doesn't mean that you are a threat.
What do you think? (About the story, not the dillema)

dont feel bad - i started to write a book about dragons and without realizing it, completely mirrored another story (the dragon chronicles)
a lot of writers are interested in dragons, so its hard to write a new storyline that no one's ever thought of before. i havent heard of yours before, but you never know. good luck in writing it,though!

To hell with the Rp's. I want to know if there's a copyright to this idea.

Rps have copyrights. The characters, the whole thing - it's like a story in a way. Plus it's copyright to it's creator. Someone could easily say you ripped off their rpg if such a one exists

ok, dont all of you get testy with each other. we dont want blood shed.
*slowly backs off*
but if there is any i'm not going to clean it up, and i probably wont try to stop it. i may try to knock some sense into your heads and that would invovle a bit of blood on my part.

*places helmet on head and gags wut2say* The point was that I didn't rip off an RP, and rps aren't copywrited so no one can sue. If someone thinks I ripped them off, they can go punch a tree with a hockey stick or take some other equally useless action.
Note: If that is how you spend your time, please do not sue me. Sue Chalgrish.

I Fully Agree With Falcon...
I am personaly writting a novel my self, and I posted previews of it on another Forum site, which was sadly shut down due to lack of activity, and I recieved countless accusations of Plagarism...
Apparently t'was exactly the same as many books, which I hadn't even head of... Grr.
Anywho,
I agree
